My client is a well known Blue Chip Financial Services provider based in Nottingham. Due to the continued success of the business and subsequent growth of the Compliance function, they are currently recruiting for aCompliance and Quality Assurance Officer.

Reporting to the Head of Compliance you will work within the Agency Compliance Team in delivering its oversight framework for debt recovery suppliers through conducting detailed audit activity of its debt collection agencies (DCAs). Managing and conducting 1st line oversight and reviews of debt collection agency practices.

Your main responsibilities will include;

  • Undertaking a range of agency on-site, thematic and review audits across the DCA Panel

  • Own the overall change management of the framework to continuously develop standards of quality and consistency within the team

  • Maintain a principle point of contact, collaboration and working activity with the 2nd line of defence Compliance department

  • Own the responsibility to manage client audit activity relating to debt collection agency compliance aspects

  • Create, adapt and maintain agency monitoring dashboards and reports; maintain stakeholder reporting and governance

  • Ensure associated processes within the team are delivered in an accurate and timely manner

  • Manage agency audit management information (MI) for compliance performance ensuring it is delivered in an accurate and timely manner

You will be a motivated Compliance/Quality Assurance professional looking to develop your career, with experience of working in a consumer and customer oriented environment. You will have a proven ability to assess consumer related activity and articulate findings with self-confidence using collaborative and pro-active measures. With knowledge and experience of regulatory aspects around Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) with broader Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) awareness.
